Basic Qualifications
 
Education/Training:  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; possess a current unencumbered LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Must have valid driver’s license.  Must attain and maintain CPR Certification & First Aid.
 
Skill(s):  Able to speak, read, write and understand English; proficient at written and oral communication; proficient at basic math skills; effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; strong critical thinking and decision making skills; valid driver’s license and dependable means of transportation. 
 
Experience: Two years of LPN experience required with one year’s experience working with a frail or elderly population.
 
Eligibility for Employment:  Must meet eligibility requirements to work in a Medicare/Medicaid environment including criminal background and other eligibility clearances, clearance for communicable diseases and all required immunization must be current.
