Education/Training:A B.S. or B.A. degree in human resources or related field of study preferred.
Skill(s):Speak and understand English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; and valid driver's license.
Experience:Previous experience in HR, sales and customer service helpful.
Responsible for managing the recruitment function for all programs; achieving goals as established in the department’s annual operating plan; work with schools and community organizations to sell STL as a GPTW; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Supports the mission and values of SpiriTrust Lutheran which is: SpiriTrust Lutheran, witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, provides exceptional health, human, and senior living services by supporting persons in achieving an optimal quality of life.
Interacts with residents, clients, staff, and the general public in ways that demonstrate the agency’s commitment to courtesy, service, and hospitality befitting a church related organization.
Manages the recruitment function for all Programs as illustrated by the following:
Develops and implements effective and cost-conscious recruitment strategies for all Programs.
Manages our HealthCare Source software.
Develops recruitment tools such as benefit summaries, brochures, handouts, etc.
Represents SPIRITRUST LUTHERAN at recruitment events.
Develops employment ads for the Agency; places print ads; posts ads on external and internal websites.
Manages employment portion of SPIRITRUST LUTHERAN website, i.e., posts positions, updates job descriptions, retrieves responses, screens, and forwards to appropriate staff.
Oversees the employment process for the Agency to ensure Standards of Practice are met and needs of Programs are met.
Processes agency-wide recruitment posting.
Assists Programs with on-site recruitment when number of vacancies warrants.
Creates a marketing plan to sell us as a GPTW with community organizations and local education systems.
Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all Agency standards, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and compliance with all regulatory requirements, i.e., HIPAA, OSHA, etc.
Abides by and supports the organization’s code of conduct by exhibiting behavior that is set forth in the code of conduct. Performs duties in accordance with the code of conduct and completes annual compliance training.
Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given timeframes and within established standards.
