SpiriTrust Lutheran’s Assisted Living Community is dedicated to a high standard of resident care and quality of life. We have purposely structured our households to support resident neighborhoods and integrate life enrichment throughout every day. SpiriTrust Lutheran is a not-for-profit, social ministry organization committed to upholding our mission, vision, and core values in all aspects of care delivery.

The Resident Care Partner is responsible for focusing on enhancing quality of life for each resident through assisting with daily personal care and engaging in life enrichment activities. Resident Care Partners will support their Household Director in making decisions for their neighborhood and will also be responsible for scheduling their days.

 

 

Your Experience Includes

 

A high school diploma or equivalent required

Completion of a Commonwealth approved nursing assistant training program with a current unencumbered active PA nursing assistant certificate

Current CPR/AED certification (or obtaining certification within 30 days of hire)

A minimum of one year experience in a related position preferred

Demonstrated communication and decision-making skills

Provision of Resident Care and Household Support

Assists residents with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, focusing on empowering each resident to achieve optimum quality of life

Maintains resident dignity and respect throughout all aspects of care

Supports and participates in providing life enrichment to residents

Supports the Household Director or Household Coordinator in decision-making for the household

Assists with light housekeeping duties; tidying up common areas and resident living space

Supports Household Director, Household Coordinator and dining services in cooking, baking and meal service delivery

Communication and Documentation

Supports communication between team members and other departments to ensure thorough care delivery for all residents

Communication with resident care team on significant information and changes in residents and household operations

Documentation of appropriate information in the resident record
