SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Director of Resident Care 
The Village at Sprenkle Drive Located in York, PA.  

We provide residential living, assisted living, personal care, memory support and nursing and rehabilitation services in six senior living communities; home care, in-home support, palliative care and hospice services; an innovative program for clinically frail adults aged 55 and older in need of nursing home level-of-care; counseling services; financial education and coaching; domestic abuse solutions; services for the deaf and hard of hearing; volunteer income tax assistance; and an array of volunteer programs.

The Director of Resident Care is responsible for the management of health related services for all assisted living residents and ensuring the neighborhoods’ compliance with operating standards, procedures and regulatory requirements. The Director of Resident Care supports the neighborhood in providing person-centered care by offering vision and foundation to resident care team members.

Your Experience Includes

Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing with a current unencumbered PA State RN license

Current CPR/AED certification (or obtaining certification within 30 days of hire)

A minimum of three years experience in a related position normally required

Knowledge of State and Federal regulations, including Assisted Living regulations

Proficient assessment and organizational skills

Demonstrated management and supervisory skills

Valid driver’s license

Clinical Oversight

Manages internal and external health related services and provides oversight for the appropriate health care of residents in accordance with the Assessment and Support Plan

Supports, cooperates with and participates in the adherence to all SpiriTrust Lutheran standards, procedures and practices in support of risk management, compliance with regulatory requirements, and overall safety

Evaluates data related to our health services program and completes appropriate follow-up to ensure compliance with all rules, regulations and agency standards

Management & Supervisory Responsibilities

Management of the Resident Care Team, leading the development and maintenance of a strong health services program

Direct supervision of assigned team members, guiding the care team with vision and purpose

Establishes an environment that promotes dignity and respect for residents and team members

Oversees team members in their timekeeping and scheduling processes
