Congratulations to Bill and Kim Kerlin!
The Cornerstone Award was established in 2004 to recognize significant contributions of philanthropy and to celebrate those who are active in the philanthropic community. Recipients of the award have demonstrated exceptional generosity to the York community and beyond through direct charitable support, leadership and volunteer service. Proceeds from the Cornerstone Dinner are used to provide support for individuals who are often unable to afford the care they require.
The 2016 SpiriTrust Lutheran® Hospice Golf Tournament was a huge success, raising more than $50,000 to help support hospice clients who cannot afford the cost of their care. Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, partners and golfers for a record-breaking tournament!
SpiriTrust Lutheran® Home Care & Hospice invites individuals and families to honor a loved one by dedicating a light in support of its Annual Hospice Tree of Light Remembrance. Lights may honor anyone, regardless of whether the person received care from SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice.
These gifts of light memorialize a loved one while helping provide hospice care for a family in need. The names of individuals honored with a light are listed in the Hospice Tree of Light Remembrance program and the SpiriTrust Lutheran® Annual Report.
The annual event began in 2012, with the first tree lighting and reception held in Gettysburg on the grounds of the Lutheran Theological Seminary. In 2013, the hosting of a second Hospice Tree of Light in Chambersburg began.
