Although we were not able to publicly recognize this year’s Cornerstone Award honorees, Jeff and Cindy Lobach, in our usual celebratory manner, we did videotape a small ceremony to recognize them. Bob Rundle, our president/CEO, and Larry Young, chair – SpiriTrust Lutheran Board of Directors, acknowledged the incredible community contributions of this special couple and presented the award to Jeff.

Great Place to Work Institute certifies SpiriTrust Lutheran again!

The Great Place to Work Institute has certified SpiriTrust Lutheran® as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) for the second consecutive year with an overall score of 72 – three higher than last year. Knowing how our team members feel about the work they do helps us in our efforts to improve as an overall agency and validates the things we do right, so we can continue improving upon them as well.

The feedback we received from the 2018 GPTW survey provided the framework for four initiatives – the creation of a Recognition Committee and three Trusted Leaders Academy projects – Exploring Non-Traditional Benefits and New Approaches to the Overall Communication of Benefits, Understanding Team Member Communications Needs to Increase Engagement and Satisfaction and Breaking Down Barriers and Increasing Transparency. Similar to last year a committee of team members will review the 2019 survey data and identify areas of improvement that can be addressed by the Trusted Leaders Academy or through other means.

“Although, we still have work to do, I am quite pleased knowing that the work we all have put into making SpiriTrust Lutheran a great place to work is paying off, said Robert L. Rundle, president/CEO. “In addition to the survey feedback, our team members have expressed appreciation for what we are accomplishing along with their concerns and recommendations for improvement during my annual listening tours and through their emails and conversations with me. Open and transparent communication is vital to our success and I continue to encourage these types of conversations with me and the entire leadership team.”
