SpiriTrust Lutheran receives Great Places to Work Certification

(June 25,  2019) York, PA – Great Place to Work Institute has certified SpiriTrust Lutheran®  as a Great Place to Work for the second consecutive year with an overall score of 72 – three higher than last year.  The certification process considered nearly 500 employee surveys from across the entire agency. Great Place to Work, an independent research and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do.

The feedback we received from the 2018 GPTW survey provided the framework for four initiatives – the creation of a Recognition Committee and three Trusted Leaders Academy projects – Exploring Non-Traditional Benefits and New Approaches to the Overall Communication of Benefits, Understanding Team Member Communications Needs to Increase Engagement and Satisfaction and Breaking Down Barriers and Increasing Transparency. Similar to last year a committee of team members will review the 2019 survey data and identify areas of improvement that can be addressed by the agency’s Trusted Leaders Academy or through other means.
