Maryland offices of SpiriTrust Lutheran® Home Care & Hospice recognized as a “Superior Performers” in patient satisfaction

Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) recognized the northern Maryland offices of SpiriTrust Lutheran® Home Care & Hospice as “Superior Performers” for achieving an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20% of all eligible SHP clients for the 2018 calendar year.

The annual SHPBest™ award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high quality service to their patients. The 2018 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for more than 2,500 home health providers. With the largest HHCAHPS benchmark in the nation, SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have made patient satisfaction a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.

This distinction by SHP marks the fifth consecutive year that SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice has been recognized as a top performer for consistently providing high quality service to its clients. “We are extremely honored as we strive for excellence in customer satisfaction for those we serve,” said Nina DelGrande, BSN, MHA, vice president of Community Health Services for SpiriTrust Lutheran.  Sarah Lohman, RN, director of Clinical Services, credits this award to the agency’s strong leadership and dedicated staff “who work very hard and are very focused on providing excellent client care.”
