SpiriTrust Lutheran® is excited to announce that our annual Hospice Golf Tournament will be held again this year following a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. The tournament will be held Monday, August 15, at the Chambersburg Country Club.

11:00 a.m.: Registration | Noon: Lunch and Opening Remarks
12:30 p.m.: Shotgun Start
An awards ceremony with food and beverage will begin once all golfers have returned to the clubhouse.

Since 1981, the Hospice Golf Tournament has raised funds to provide care to hospice clients who lack insurance and do not have the resources to pay for the care they need. While we missed the opportunity to enjoy each other’s camaraderie on the golf course and personally share stories of how our caregivers have enriched the lives of hospice clients, many in the community did not miss the opportunity to support our work. Businesses and individuals came together in spirit to support the continuation of hospice services through the 2020 and 2021 Hospice Benevolence Drives.

The 2020 campaign raised $44,500 and the 2021 campaign raised $26,150 to support in-home medical care, spiritual and emotional support and respite to those who need help during one of the most difficult times of life. The funds help bridge the gap between insurance coverage and what clients are able to afford for hospice care.
