Congratulations to Cindy Morrow, RN, SpiriTrust Lutheran® Home Care & Hospice, for being honored with the 2022 Karen A. Rohaly Award. In nominating her for this award, Morrow’s fellow team members described her as a team member who works diligently and goes “above and beyond” for her clients and their families while ensuring clients receive exceptional care. Morrow began her career with SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice in 2016 as a home health nurse and later accepted the position of hospice RN.
“I have found great joy in providing support to clients and their families through the end-of-life process,” said Morrow. “Working with hospice clients and supporting their families has been the most rewarding part of my time at SpiriTrust Lutheran.”
SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care & Hospice established the Karen A. Rohaly Award after the death of our agency’s first administrator, Karen Rohaly. Leading Home Care & Hospice from its inception in 1978 until her untimely death in 1987, Rohaly was a visionary who defined our organization’s mission.
