SpiriTrust Lutheran® graduates its first class of CNAs

Thursday, May 4 was a day of celebration for the six SpiriTrust Lutheran® team members who comprised the first class to graduate from our internal certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course. Each of the students successfully completed the 18-day course that consisted of classroom instruction and clinical experience, and culminated with a final exam and mock skills test.

Proudly displaying their certificates, roses and gift bags in the photo above are (L-R) Alexis Mcdannell, Annabelle Reichard, Katelyn Lindsey, Nicolle English, Annette Murdorf and Heather Eckenrode.

The group of six put their newly earned skills to work immediately when they reported for their new role the day after graduation. Reichard and English joined The Village at Sprenkle Drive team; Lindsey, Murdorf and Eckenrode joined The Village at Luther Ridge team; and Mcdannell joined The Village at Utz Terrace team.

All six graduates are now eligible to take the Pennsylvania nurse aide exam, the last step in earning their certified nursing assistant designation.
